Sisters Charlotte (Flute) et Annabelle (Violon) Berthomé make an incomparably organic duo. Their close family link has brought them to perform together from a very early age at numerous venues across France.
Their flute and violin repertoire is extremely varied, ranging from Telemann duets to Piazzolla via Mozart and Paganini sonatas.
Following their third 3-week tour in Vendée, Charente-Maritime and Haute-Savoie in July 2010 within which the duo paid tribute to composer Robert Schumann (1810-1856), exactly 200 years after his birth, the Nereus Duo just recently performed an acclaimed post-romantic programme at La Folle Journée 2011 'Les Titans' in Challans, on 30th January 2011.
